Bear Claw $31.00 Russ Kommer is a bright young custom knifemaker who was based in Anchorage, Alaska, for many years. Conditions there are rugged, either from the climate or the work folks are doing. He thought a knife that was easy to grip and hard to lose would be a big hit, and since he made the first Bear Claw™, he hasn’t been able to meet the demand. His original concept was a self-defense knife for women that would be lightweight, easy to access and control. But it seems that every parachutist, bush pilot and commercial fisherman who sees one, wants one. Blade length: 2 3/8" Overall length: 5 3/4" Steel: AUS4 Stainless Handle: Zytel Sheath included
Bez Tine Skinner $65.00 His Bez Tine™ Skinner is a classic fixed-blade skinner, with a blade of 1.4116 high-carbon stainless steel. The blade receives a high hollow grind for top skinning performance, and then is mirror polished for maximum corrosion resistance. At the handle, the full-tang blade is mated to a stainless steel bolster and walnut scales, held with stainless steel pins and meticulously hand-contoured. The handle features four deep finger choils for grip under the slipperiest conditions. A thick custom leather sheath is included. Carson M16 Tanto $40.00 When we considered offering Kit Carson’s very popular aluminum M16® InterFrame construction. Instead of aluminum handles, we use tough, textured Zytel® scales over a 420J2 stainless steel liner InterFrame. We overbuild it for rigidity, using solid Zytel back spacers. And we assemble the handle with superior offset Torx® fasteners. The handle is slightly heftier and wider than our aluminum build M16, but it is exceptionally rigid. To some of us, it actually fills the hand better. Blade length: 3" Open length: 7 3/8" Steel: AUS 4 Stainless Handle: Textured Zytel
Carson M16 Spear Point $40.00 When we considered offering Kit Carson’s very popular aluminum M16® design in a more affordable build, we turned to our very successful InterFrame construction. Cascade Lockback $28.00 Jim Hammond’s Cruiser series of customs seemed like an ideal starting point in our development of a high-quality affordable lockback work folder. As the first custom knifemaker and Knifemakers’ Guild member to work with CRKT, he understood the translation necessary to arrive at our production Cascade Lockback. The blade is a Hammond modified clip point shape, hollow ground from 420J2 stainless steel with a bead-blast finish, and available with a Combination Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edge. For maximum comfort, we used our Twin-Fused™ handle technology using a rigid, injection-molded high-impact polycarbonate frame with a soft, comfortable diamond-patterned injection-molded Kraton® grip for a firm, safe hold. This build, combined with the rounded handle cross section, deep finger choil with guard, pronounced butt pommel and blade thumb ramp with friction grooves, results in one of the most secure and comfortable grips in any folder, at any price. Blade length: 3 3/8" Open length: 8 1/2" Steel: 420J2 Stainless Handle: Black injection-molded Kraton®
Dogfish Neck Knife $20.00 Tom Krein is a young custom knifemaker who has created quite a stir with his Mid Tech Dogfish neck knife. It seemed like the perfect affordable CRKT production knife, so here it is. Tom has a great sense of style, so unlike many skeletonized flat blades, the Dogfish™ is graceful, gives a secure grip, and also has that dogfish face at the pommel which turns out to be—a lanyard hole and bottle opener! It has a secure finger choil and friction grooves at the thumb spine and near the butt. Blade length: 2 1/4" Overall length: 5 1/4" Steel: 3Cr13 stainless One piece construction Neck sheath included

Edgie 2 Self Sharpening Knife $29.00 This year, Steve Jernigan came up with a dual-edged Edgie lockback with a 3.25” blade. The “American Eagle Wharncliffe” blade grind tapers at the tip for better penetration and much easier cutting of thick materials such as corrugated cardboard. Again, the frame is superstrong thanks to our stainless steel InterFrame build with Zytel scales. A textured surface and soft grooved TPR insert give excellent grip under all conditions. Blue or yellow insert models are available. The long blade slot allows easy one- hand opening. The lockback release is at the butt for exceptional lockup safety. That’s the Edgie story. It’s not too glamorous, just a tale of affordable and tough little work knives designed to take a lot of use and stay sharp. Elishewitz Horus Combo Edge $50.00 Horus is familiar to Egyptologists as the hawk-headed god, lord of the sky. As Canyon Lake, Texas knifemaker Allen Elishewitz developed this new design, similar in many ways to his larger custom Creedmore, we saw an aggressive hawk-like character in its crisp edges, facets and choils, hence the Horus™ name. It reminds us of an F-117 stealth fighter, too. This is much more than an Elishewitz design statement, even though it is a piece that grabs your attention immediately. It’s a very functional every day carry with the patented features that have made CRKT folders so popular, including OutBurst™ assisted opening(1) and the LAWKS® safety(2). The Horus frame features an unusual choiled pistol-grip curve. The stainless steel InterFrame build has one locking liner and sculpted black textured Zytel® scales. The wild honey gold variegated inlays are the latest CPL composite, like that used in modern bowling balls. Injection molding makes each one unique. The blade is AUS 8 premium stainless steel in a bead-blast finish. We call it an “Elishewitz stealth grind” because it is composed almost entirely of flat angular facets. The result is a very strong blade with a strong central spine which extends very near to the tip. It is available in both Razor- Sharp and Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edge models. Of course, this design demands our patented OutBurst™ assisted opening mechanism, which instantly springs the blade fully open after you have opened the blade approximately 30 degrees. The OutBurst mechanism can be removed to allow fast, conventional one-hand opening using the custom Elishewitz ramped thumb stud, depending on your preference or local ordinances. In addition, our patented LAWKS® safety effectively converts your folder into a virtual fixed blade when actuated. Just slide the lever forward to lock, and slide it back to enable easy one-hand closing.
Elishewitz Scarab $50.00 The Scarab has a 3.25” blade and is 4.25” long when folded, dimensions that knife users tell us are “just about right” for a personal carry. Weighing 4.9 ounces, it also has just the right heft. The Scarab frame uses a stainless steel InterFrame build with one locking liner. Black textured Zytel® scales are inlaid with the latest tough and hard CPL composite, like that used in modern bowling balls, featuring blue/gray swirls. Each inlay has a unique pattern. call it an Elishewitz drop/spear point, swedged and recurved. The blade is AUS 8 premium stainless steel in a bead-blast finish. Both Razor-Sharp and Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edge grinds are available. Fulcrum Flame $58.00 Charles Kain’s cool patented* opening action, but he was even more excited is the co-designer of many of our stunning I.D. Works™ tools, and has a flair for the unusual. So he sent us drawings for the Fulcrum™ Flame, and now it’s a CRKT production knife. The knife design is a study in curves, with nary a straight line to be found. The 2.75” AUS 8 premium stainless steel blade is a drop point, swedged and recurved with a high hollow grind. Tom came up with a curvilinear CRKT logo that is laser cut into the blade. Structurally, the Flame uses our high-carbon stainless steel InterFrame build with a steel pivot at the back spacer. Scales are 6061 T6 aluminum, black anodized, with radiating circular engraving and a flame relief on the front scale. The handle shape is designed to fit the hand with an extremely deep finger choil resulting in a wasp-waist, then swelling into a comfortable When Tom Stokes saw our Kommer Fulcrum™, he was excited about curved butt. If your friends aren’t impressed by the Flame’s flowing design, they will be when they see the crisp click-click instant opening. To open the Flame, simply press the left side of the frame down with your thumb. The blade swings out to the 90-degree position. Click! Then pull the left side of When Tom Stokes saw our Kommer Fulcrum™, he was excited about the frame back, gripping with your index finger at the choil, and the blade continues to rotate open and lock in the open position. Click! After a few openings, you can do it naturally in one continuous, fluid action, or “fulcrumation.” To close the Flame, simply release the stainless steel locking liner. One-hand closing is also fast and easy. Model 7406 has a bright satin finished blade, liners, and removable stainless steel pocket/gear clip. The black-out model 7406K has a non-reflective black titanium nitride blade finish for maximum corrosion resistance. Liners and stainless steel clip receive a spectral titanium nitride finish which shows through a relief in the left scale. At CRKT, we’ve produced many eye-popping designs over the years, but the Flame is certainly the most sensuous of the lot. 7406K: Razor-Sharp Cutting Edge, Black Blade, Spectral Titanium Nitride Liners Length: 2.75” (70 mm) Thickness: 0.12” (2.9 mm) Steel: AUS 8, 58-59 HRC Closed Handle length: 4.25” (108 mm) Open Overall length: 7.0” (178 mm) Weight: 4.4 oz. Guppie Black Multi Tool $32.00 They say, “The Guppie™ was born from the need for a small, pocketable wrench-based tool that could tackle small- to medium-sized jobs. The name comes from its fish-like form.” That Launce and Tom were able to pack all the other Guppie features— knife, carry carabiner, screwdriver, bottle opener, bit carrier, hex bits and LED light— into this small package is a tribute to their sophisticated engineering ability. The Guppie’s adjustable wrench jaw opens to 1/2", making it a handy tool for light assembly and repair, and a very useful emergency tool in the home, office, or outdoors. The Guppie’s 2.0” high-carbon stainless steel blade can be opened and closed with one hand. The Guppie’s black stainless steel body features a carabiner shape, which allows it to be carried on belt loops, D-rings, packs or rope. (It is not intended as a weight-bearing climbing carabiner.) The carabiner detent is ingeniously designed to open bottles and metal jar lids, a very useful feature when camping. At the Guppie’s “tail” is a hex bit receiver which accepts interchangeably the four hex bits included (two flat, two Phillips), making a very functional high-torque screwdriver. The Guppie’s removable injection- molded bit carrier uses two locating bosses and a powerful magnet to hold it to the side of the Guppie securely. One end of the carrier features a tiny but powerful LED flashlight, while the other end has a hole for a ring, allowing it to be carried separately as a key chain fob, for example. The Guppie’s removable stainless steel clip allows secure carry in pockets or on gear, and also makes a handy money clip.
